Thanks for all the anniversary well wishes guys, I appreciate that! I'm hoping to put a tape to him either tonight or tomorrow so I'll let you guys know what I come up with for him. timmy_ar as far as price goes, I'm not sure since it was a gift. All I know for sure is that we had been looking for quite a while at getting this done but kept pushing it off because it was fairly expensive, but my dad did tell me that it was much cheaper with the guy he went to and would definitely go back to him in the future. My advice is to just ask around to different taxidermists, since they're artists they might enjoy the opportunity to do something like that. My dad was getting a fish replica mount done and just happened to bring this rack up and the guy said he'd love to try restoring it.
Finally got around to scoring the rack, and if I did it right looks like it will gross 166 2/8! Man would I love to see something like that while out hunting this year.
