This buck was just shot this morning on a special draw Camp Ripley hunt here in MN and the hunt only goes for 2 days and NO prior scouting opps...guys will wait in line overnight to get the best spots in the AM....very known for big bucks, but nothing this big has ever come out of there that I know of!....only details I have so far is that the guy shot him at 44yds and thats all I know...I should mention there is only 2-2day hunts per year with archery tackle only!!! And they also have a youth and disabled gun hunt here also!!!

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WHAT WE DREAM OF!!!

Good for him (hunter, not the deer;)). A lot had to come together for that to happen. Congrats to the lucky hunter.

I just found out the guy shot him out in an open grassy area just south of an area I hunted before....huge grassy area, Im assuming he got kicked out by other hunters or the guy spot and stalked him!
