Mods.... Different Standard?

I honestly don't think this thread is going anywhere positive so let me end it by saying this.

Moderators & Admins of this site are first and foremost members just like everyone else. We post and interact here because we enjoy it. We also must abide by the rules we've set forth for everyone else. Yes, there have been times when a Mod or Admin (myself included) have possibly pushed or even crossed those lines with some of our posts. However they have been treated the same way we treat anyone else - so long as it's not a prolonged and recurring habit it's typically either overlooked or the comment is edited or locked and we all move on with our lives. IMO we're pretty lenient with the rules as to let everyone speak their mind and typically only take action when it's absolutely necessary.

That being said, I don't recall any times when someone has abused their powers to punish a member of the site for personal or unjust reasons. There is always careful consideration and conversation amongst our entire Mod/Admin staff before the decision to ban a person is made. After all, our goal here is to grow our community not shrink it. So believe me when I say no banning decision is ever made lightly (except for the damn spammers).

If anyone ever has a gripe or feel that they're being treated unfairly, or that a Mod/Admin is out of line, our phone number, email and address is at the bottom of every page of this site. It's not hard to get ahold of us.
