Ksandman posted up pics from his mock scrape. Which made me curious, I have never used a mock scrape myself. So I have a few questions.

When is the best time to create one?
What is the best brand to use?
    How do you create one?

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

I am going to start up a couple of mock scrapes this weekend. I really like Ever Calm Deer Herd In A Stick. It is just like a deodorant stick. You just rub it on the licking branches and it is like wax and sticks to the tree. I rake up the ground below and pee in it when I am done.

This product is mabe by Border Crossings, they also have an estorous and buck scent which I do not like at all. But the deer herd in a stick is definitely worth trying.
