DnH Scents, I'd be interested to see how deer react to your product in october when the deers sexual drive heightens. I know I have deer in the area, but my objective is to get deer to a specific spot and have them returning to that spot. If your product does that, then it would be worth trying. Can you share what the main ingredient is?

Everyone would do well to read Shed's thread about mock scrapes that is pinned at the top of this forum. Full of great information. Mock scrapes work really well when done correctly and in the right spot. I have had great success with them and used the scents that Shed recommended. I love the fact that the scents are synthetic and I don't have to worry about them spoiling.

As I said, I have been developing this scent for many years and I have tested it in all months. Licking branch activity increases during the ruting phase and my scent cant take credit for that, every low hanging branch is a victim of deer abuse at that time of year but I find that my scent (and all the additional scent all the other deer deposit through visiting my branch) meakes my branches hit a bit more and with more consistancy.

As to the main ingredient, its simple. Deer. This is not some refined and sterilized and filtered liquid. Its thick and there is a lot of deer hair in my scent.
