I wish I knew the right answer here but I believe yes that's what they do now that they know where It Is. The question Is, what do they do when the wind Isn't blowing Into their bedding area? I have no Idea to be honest but I would think he would want to check It. Maybe he or they bed In different spots depending on the wind.
It's just not about checking it the next few weeks, it's about freshing it up. IMO he does not care about the wind to freshen the scrape. I have watch a mature buck walk from down wind to freshen one of his scrapes. Why I was not on that tree was a mistake on my part:D
That's an awesome buck. Good luck Steve. I was wondering what scent you guys were using for that, but Rybo let the cat out of the bag. I used that stuff a few years ago and it is the only scent I've used that I've gotten any kind of response to. I still use some of their stuff, but don't do much scent work anymore. It sounds like you guys really have a system. It will be fun to follow how you make out. Go get him.
