This I didn't expect!! It's been a while since I've saw a buck like this. I believe this buck was the 125" 8 point (3.5 year old) I saw last year and passed up. If this Is the same buck which I 100% believe he Is he sure blew up from last year by adding a couple more points (and a kicker) and much more tine length and a little bit on the spread. All I know Is this buck will not get a pass from me this year If the shot presents Itself!!!

    So, what ya think? :D

Steve how many days did it take for this guy to find that scrape? Did you put a dripper in, cant see one? Did you hang a stand there already or just scrape and camera? Did U just get/check your camera tonight?

Man this is exciting bud, very happy for you, they definately do work if U picked the right spot and U picked a dandy!

I would also like to know how you made a scrape. I can't see an area where the leaves are raked away. Just curious how you did it? Great Buck!

1st of all, thank you Troy for giving me a hand and an ear on using these mock scrapes.

My 1st check was 8 days ago. I had 2 mock scrapes out In different spots and nothing decent showed so I moved them like you said to do If nothing decent showed. Last Thursday the 8th I put In this mock scrape and 2 other ones. He showed 3 days later.;) I'll be hanging a stand NW of this scrape about 18 yards away. The only winds I can hunt on It will be a S and SE wind. A stand will be going up here tomorrow after my morning hunt In a different spot.

SOB, I forgot the damn dripper at home again!!! Thanks for the reminder (again) Troy.

One of my other scrapes also had an ok buck come through about 10 yards on the other side of the scrape, not sure on the size of him though being he was moving fast and never stopped.

That is a great buck Steve, good luck with him. But I find it hard to believe he was a 125" 8 pointer last year.
