Tried a horizontal rub last year that didn't work to well. Might try again with a different type of tree. Wanted to try a post this year. What should I be looking for. Pine or cedar? 4" or 3"? Any tips would be appreciated.

What did you have last year? I had a young pine die last winter and I'm going to use its trunk for one this year if I can find a good spot for it. I read somewhere that Scottish pines work but have no experience on the matter. I'm just hoping to get some good trail cam pictures.
