    Missouri NT - 282 2/8
    New York - 244 2/8

Both of these are the largest non-typical bucks for each state. For New York it was taken w/gun (the archery record is 205 1/8). Missouri's record does not state how it was taken. New York's record was taken in 1939 and Missouri's - 2001.

Statistically speaking - PT is the underdog.

Ok, so.......sombody double check my math........Missouri's buck is 14% bigger, right? Now, I would much rather go by archery killed, typical record...

This is what I'm thinking.....if the big crybaby Earp thinks he needs a spot, I'm thinking about giving him that percentage. In other words, if he shoots a 115" buck, he gets a 14% handicap, making his buck 131".

I would be willing to do that if someone can locate the typical record for each state. Tony, how many buck tags do you get buddy?

Be honest.....how many of us are surprised the NY's record buck is that big?

NY Typical Archery Buck - 180 1/8 taken in 1998
MO Typical Archery Buck - (Can't find the site)

Missouri ranks 7th in the nation for taking trophy bucks.

    Good luck to both.

I'm not even sure what we're arguing about, but my money is on Tony. Anybody with Bowhunting Jesus in his corner is probably on the fast-track to victory.

Tony would also beat Germ. No doubt about it.

Yeah let's look at sidekicks here.

Mobo has The Punkmaster General AKA Buckeye

PT has a Guy who walks on water, resurrects from death, and makes the blind see..He has to be able to do something for Tony.

Ya'll do realize that you simply don't need to be a preacher to have Bowhunting Jesus in your corner, right? How ya'll think I layed that last one down? My OWN power?? I think not. ;)

Tony, if you're wanting me to spot you inches to save ME.....forget it buddy. This is gonna be heads up play.

Ok, here's the deal. You have 1 buck tag in 2 states. I have 4 buck tags in 2 states so we'll have to go with first buck. U think you're man enough to lay 2 down this year? 1 in each state?

Let's go first buck shot in each of our 2 states, heads up play. Total inches takes it all.

I might have gone for that till the comment about me giving HIM points to save..........me........

Hell........just cause I have them here don't mean I'm gonna kill one. My plan for Missouri this year is still the same......The first 100" 8 point or bigger is gonna have some real difficulty breathing....

New York state record typical is 180"........Sounds like they might be there to me....Ok, maybe not as many, but they're there. Ya'll know how many bucks that go over 125" I've even SEEN on stand? I promise ya I can count 'em on one hand.

Yeah, yeah....I know......that's a handful more than you, right? Did you ever find your states typical record?

All's I'm sayin is......you guys are giving me way too much credit based SOLEY on where I live.

Granted, but don't you think that's a little skewed? I meah hell........Let's look at the TEXAS state record typical.........Any guesses? I'm bettin it's freakin BIG...And why is that? Because good Lord, look at all the ranches where big bucks are crops....Planted, grown, and harvested.

And I'm not saying that Missouri doesn't have it's outfitters but.......I'm gonna bet Illinois has more. They CERTAINLY have more publicity.

And last I looked, neither me nor PT are hunting ranches. We gotta find 'em ourselves. Can we make the playing field any more even?

Or are bucks shot on ranches, or outfitters lands, NOT eligible for the books? They are, right? (Not a sarcastic question, seriously......are they?)
