here where I live in PA we all call them "crossguns". we took the bow out of the word because there isn't any bow to it. I have noticed that all the bigger bucks shot anymore are from crossgun hunters. they should get a one week season with our inline muzzleloader season. these guys stalk around the woods like elmer fudd. you guys in MO will see a lot more hunters in the woods for sure. I noticed more in my area when it was introduced. the one law I thought that should be inserted with crossguns is that cocking aids are illegal. if you can't cock it by hand it is illegal. I should've posted a trail cam pic I have of a couple of guys sneaking though the woods with their crossguns slung over their shoulders with a bolt loaded and ready to fire. looked dangerous to me. and in PA they are allowed a electronic sight in the crossgun. haven't checked recently but vertical bows it was illegal to have electronics on your sight. you will soon have company and become frustrated with these weenies in MO.

Not really looking forward to it tc.
Definitely doesn't sound safe walking around with a loaded bolt.
