I actually graduated in 2007 - Had a Gabbert in my class. I know quite a few of them actually!

I wouldn't be surprised if we know each other...

Went to the land yesterday and set up my last cam - Still couldn't reach the area I wanted to set it up because it is flooded so bad.

Ended up setting it up on the north field edge where we have some new green growth coming in. Looks like the deer have been using it as a big food source right now. Staying away for the next 2-3 weeks.

Very scary situation occurred Monday night... Thank god everyone is alright.

My girlfriends brother, who is 19, was taking his girlfriend for a ride on our Honda Pioneer side by side. We got a call at 7:30 saying for us to come there and not to panic... We obviously knew something had happened. When we arrived we found that because of sun glare off the windshield her brother mistakenly pulled to far out from a stop sign and ended up t-boning a car traveling the other way. They were both thrown from the UTV but did not sustain major injuries, had they been seconds earlier, it could have been much worse. He ended up breaking his femur, amid other bumps and bruises. Surprisingly, the car they hit had more damage than the Pioneer.

Would like some suggestions on mineral sites on my property.

    Green rectangles: Bedding
    Red Rectangle: Potential bedding
Yellow circle to south: Current Monster Raxx site
Green/Yellow Circle to North: Potential Monster Raxx site
Field will be half beans and half corn this summer

My property is only 40 acres, and I know the recommended usage is 1 bag of MR per 40-50 acres, but would it be beneficial for me to set up another site on the north side of the property?

    Thoughts?

Looks like I won't be visiting the property for a while by the looks of this forecast... 2 inches of rain yesterday with another 2-3 inches expected this week + snow. The never ending winter continues. I just want a week of sun+70's!

Do deer cross the field regularly? Or do you have a "north" and "south" herd?

    Depends.

I know we have a northeast/south heard but they also travel between the two sections once corn is planted.
