How far out did you see that laying out in the field?

I have yet to find a shed in a field like that, my Dad is the one that has all the luck there, guess I got my eyes trained for the in close picking them out of the background

Nice bone, good luck this fall....

I had actually walked from the pole shed (upper right in the pic) through the swamp for about an hour and circled around then came out on that field. It was just sitting there, glistening in the sun. I saw it from a long ways off, but I had to convince myself it was a shed. It's like dagger just went out there and set it nicely in the field for me.

Upon further inspection, my dad says dagger might be the buck he saw last year in october, 100 yrds from that find in a food plot.

    Thanks guys.

Here is an idea of what I was walking through for the hour prior to finding the shed in the field:confused:

This is where the buck lives, also:

Looks like most the places I look for sheds.

Thick.. thorn ridden.. smelly swamp water always riddled in ticks.

For sure Duke, but by far the best part of that swamp...

The poison Ivy you get is top notch. By far the best I've ever had...

Gonna be a banger next year bro. Keep your feelers out and try to figure out where that big boy spends his summers.

    Congrats!

My buddy found a unique shed while out with me today...

I think it's a shed from last year, just a small guy...

The main beam wraps a good 2" past the brow tine, pretty weird:confused:
