Just seeing if any of you MN guys have had any experience with the metro hunts? I have a buddy who will be hunting Snail Lake Regional Park and was wanting some advice and ideas. If any of you guys have hunted this particular park any info would be great. Thanks

The area by the airport used to have veryy mature deer, I would be surprised if it does not any more.

I live in the metro but never hunted any of the areas. I believe most counties have their own hunting areas that you have to apply for and pass certain accuracy tests in order to hunt.

I am looking for somewhere to hunt in the west metro of the Twin Cities Zone 601. Any advice would be great. Most likely going to be late season unless it is private land. (Won't find me in the woods with metro rifle hunters)
