Read that yesterday... My opinion of Dan Hardy just fell SEVERAL notches. He realizes that he probably won't get a shot at Matt because Matt's got one fight left and he's on his way out... way past his prime, obviously. Having said that, I'd love it if it happened and Matt KTFO'd Dan and sent him packing for his fifth straight loss.
You're on Point. I've found these PETA or anti-hunting nothing more than a bunch of disingenuous petulant numb nuts. And yet just as some of the Holly Weird crowd going to the best restaurants and ordering veal cutlets. To maintain their lean physique then have objection against a hunter. It's obvious Matt has raised his fight game to television personality so why step back to slap every piss-ant that want to sling mud? Personally he should take the stance... Doubtful that Matt could beat Hardy at this point in his career. But does that really matter? Matt is a stand-up guy and always has been. A hard working blue collar farmer. Dan Hardy is an arrogant British d-bag.
Truer words could not be said. There is a member of this forum that is MIA these days and he sees him occasionally when they go out the the bars and says Matt is always a genuine dude who loves to talk hunting. Hardy is a D-Bag on a four fight loosing streak calling out a guy that is all but retired. Hardy might want to focus on beating active UFC fighters before going after a legend of the sport. Hardy will be forgotten and is looking for a reason to improve his UFC .500 record.
I agree whole heartedly... I've always been a HUGE Matt Hughes Fan. I don't know what it is about Brits and MMA, but they are all full of arrogance and ignorance. ie... Hardy and Bisping... Bisping being at the top of my hate list.
Matt needs to take him to the ground and fight for all the chips. No matter what, hold him down and beat him, even if that means trying to shoot in while trying to take him down and getting caught with a hard shot. He doesn't need to dance in the ring, just make Hardy move laterally and backwards at all times.

1) Nice to seem some guys like follow MMA on here. 2) I think Matt Hughes deserves a bit more respect than hes been given by Hardy. Matt was a great fighter but hes on the decline now. I find it foolish of Hardy to pick at the fact that Matt is a hunter and use that as an excuse to make Matt look bad.
I am not a fan of cage fighting. Don't have any negative feelings about the sport I have just never cared much for it.. But Just like most of you guys and gals on the forum I very strongly dislike anything or anyone that talks down on our sport wether it be bumper stickers, activists groups or anything in-between so Matt Hughes better win that fight. I might even have to watch it just for that reason.
Hardy and Bisping the two biggest D-Bags in MMA. My man Condit Ko'd Hardy and we all know what HENDO did to Bisping! LMAO that was the best KO I've ever seen! Love to see Matt fight him and beat him, but like others have said, not sure Matt has it in him anymore, but man I'd love to see him pull it off if they fought. Matt H. will always be one of my favorite fighters.
What you guys are failing to see here, or just aren't commenting on, is that fact that Hardy is selling this fight, and obviously it's working, we're here talking about it right....and as much as I liked Matt Hughes as a fighter and thought he was a straight badass, he was a total prick in person.
