According to at least 50% of the fans watching the game I am completely blind and stupid. I am sure since I have called foul on little Timmy, I have ruined his chances of going pro.

I actually love messing with the fans, it's so much fun.

I have never reffed soccer but I have basketball and football. Reffing the younger kids is harder than the higher levels. At the older levels they run plays and know what they are supposed to do the action is "tighter" and it is easier to see penalties. At the younger levels it is a blob of humanity and chaos it is like a swarm around the ball. I always get a kick out of parents that try to apply NFL rules to 2-3rd grade football rules.
