Well, the World Series goes through Kansas City!!!!! I have no words to explain how this has happened. These guys have just been clutch. Pitching excellent, playing amazing defense, hitting the ball over the wall and getting timely clutch hits when they need them. I can't explain where the confidence has come from, but as a lifelong fan, they have made the wait worth it.
Congrats to the Royals fan base, you guys deserve it, but I'll be honest, so of your players are absolutely annoying to watch and hear in the media, and given your sports radio hosts hard on with the Cardinals I can't help but feel some animosity towards ya. But to the fans, congrats, you guys deserve it and you have many more years of winning to look forward to as well! That bullpen is sick! Side note. I hate the Cardinals right now, but if your going to lose the Giants are a good team to give it up to. Not over quite yet, but the battle of bullpens goes to the Giants in extras.
I guess now you know what it's been like to be a Royals fan in Missouri. You can't imagine how tired we get of hearing about the Cardinals in the national media. Not sure what radio host you are referring to, but the ones I listen to are no fans of the Cardinals.
