LaRussa works for the Diamondbacks, not MLB....and it's the playoffs, I'd be very surprised if MLB would suspend one of their stars.

Gonzalez piped up first because he was ticked from last year when Hanley got hit. The book on Puig is bust him inside, and that's what Waino was doing. He hit him, it's part of pitching inside. Only a complete moron would think that was intentional. It's the playoffs, he was the tying run, and look at the bats that were behind him.

The Tigers pitching is fine. The bullpen is the weak link. They were only behind 4-3 in the first game when the "relief" pitchers took over. They were ahead 6-3 in the second game when the "relief" pitchers took over.

The O's bullpen is really good this year expescially in one run games. Tigers are a good team and have been for a few years now. I just think the orioles are better this year. Being from Baltimore I wanna see the O's and Nats go at it in the world series

How good do my O's look after 2 games? Haven't felt enthusiasm like this here in years. They've really exposed the Tigers bullpen.

It's going to be a great series between the Royals and O's. The Royals are playing with a ton of confidence and it seems like they have finally gotten over the hump. They are playing free and easy, putting pressure on their opponents in every facet of the game. As a Royals fan, it's really hard to believe we are only one step away from playing in the World Series. Still a long way to go, but I'm glad we are playing the O's. The Tigers have had our number and I think it was mostly mental. Looking forward to a great series. Go Royals.

I hope they keep playing pressure free and don't think it's World Series or bust. This team has already gave us a great year as fans. Don't get me wrong, I'm still hoping for a championship though :)

Is Matt Carpenter human right now?

This Dodgers pen en route to Jansen is awful. Big rip by Wong.

I'm sorry to burst your bubble but the O's will be victorious!!!!

Seriously though I am pumped to see my team this far in the playoffs. I was 7 the last time this happened. Glad it's the Royals we are playing since it's been forever for them as well. Gonna be a great series!

Rosenthal always likes to make it interesting. Cards seem to just barely skate by each year but they are always there. 4th NLCS in a row and their 7th in the last 11 years I believe. Crazy they sent Kershaw home 2 years in a row. Pulling for the Giants in the other half, that rotation of the Nats is scary.

I didn't think the O's or Royals had the starters to get it done, but obviously that isn't the case. The O's put up crooked numbers and the Royals are built for the playoffs with speed and an unbelievable bullpen. I've always liked Hosmer so it's cool to see him coming up big finally after all his prospect hype.

4 for 4 so far! I did get in a little late and will admit some teams had already won when I picked but still right so far.

NLCS - Giants over Cards in 6
ALCS - Orioles over Royals in 5

World Series - Giants over Orioles in 6

The Giants and Cards are so similar in terms of how they are built. They both have experience, both have studs leading their rotations, and both have lineups that when you look at them you say ehhh, but they come up with the hits.

I'll go with Birds in 6. But I'm biased. Sounds like I might have my free ticket for Saturday nights game too. Now just to decide if NLCS baseball is worth missing a hunt for????

On the AL side I have no dog in the fight. I'm going to say Royals, but I'd be fine with either team. A Cardinals and Royals WS would be nuts.

Big game tonight! Hopefully the Royals can leave Baltimore with at least 1 win and get back home tied. This should be a very interesting series with power vs. speed. Pretty chilly in Baltimore tonight might help keep the ball in the yard. Hoping the Royals in 6.....
