Twin need to win 1 game this weekend to tie up home field for the opening round of playoffs. I will not get sucked in I will pay attention yes but a 16 game playoff losing streak is not to be ignored.
Braves fan here. Going to be interesting to see the outcome for wild cards, playoffs and the WS. As we all know, anything can happen in a game- bloopers to shallow outfield to advance runners and/or score runs, errors, pitchers can be hot one game and later, colder than Monday's mashed potatoes, injuries of key players, etc. If any of those occur, my wife comments, "That's baseball."
Players now are so soft they have a tweak and they sit for a week. Kirk Gibson drug his leg up to home plate and hit a home run off the best reliever in baseball with 1 hamstring.
