The Twins were in the top 7 in runs scored last season in the AL and their pitching has been improved that is the reason for my optimism.

Ervin Santana was just suspended for 80 games. Over 500 went from a stretch to a miracle for the Twinkies

Dang out of the country this week had not heard that. Oh well I guess I won't be headed to Target Field I won't go when they are below 500. I will still listen to them on a AM radio while I fish the river.

Just heard Santana was suspended... What a joke. Sadly I do not see the Twins hitting .500 this year.

There is no way in hell Danny Santana repeats last years success.

The AL Central is just so tough the way it is. White Sox and Indians have improved, and the Tigers are still good

Agreed, but Tigers have a lot of aging players and little depth. Can't afford to lose Sanchez for long periods of time as they have the past couple years

The Twins weren't a .500 team even before Santana got popped. Both Central divisions are stacked at the top this year.

Ready to watch Waino take the hill tonight! Going to be hard to get pulled away from the Blues/Hawks game though!

Good opening day for the jays! 6-1 W at the brox. Can't argue with that! Solid start by Hutch. Glad they got to tanaka in that 5 run inning. They looked great as a team!!

The AL East is up for grabs (except the Yanks). Orioles will be tough again this year as will the Sox. The Jays will be right there as well. I see the Yanks at or near the bottom of the pack. Not enough offense with an aging lineup, starting pitching is suspect and an injury or 2 or 3 (which always happens) from fading into oblivion. Bullpen is pretty good, but ..... the glory days are long gone.

Good start all around for the Red Sox...granted it was against Philly. Glad to see Ramirez finding his swing early on as well. Buchholz looked solid.

Exactly. lol. I'm excited for the Os win but they beat a bad Rays team. Looking forward to some games against the Jays and Sox.

Defense bailed him out there with Prince and Beltre, but sat down Choo on 3. 6 more to go!

The mets actually have some good young players. I can only see that team improve over the next couple of years

The Twins are painful to watch, horrible hitting, horrible fielding, horrible pitching. I am going to at least to see the Cubs come and play in June.

Yesterday was very, very painful. Worst team in the MLB right now...
