I've recently tried a new "deer attractant" me and my buddy got a tip to put mistletoe in front of our cameras because that's what deer will go to before anything. Has anyone else tried this?

This is a serious thread... We cut mistletoe out of trees with a pole saw and put it infront of some of our cameras bc my buddy got a tip that they will eat that stuff before anything else

So does it work? I don't think I'll be switching from monster raxx or food plots anytime soon but I'm curious

The misletoe does seem to be the first thing the deer ate there is plenty of corn still and no mistletoe

For some reason, I always thought mistletoe was toxic. But I just read up on it on wikipedia and it's actually a pretty fascinating plant, with berries evolved to specifically attract preference feeding by a variety of animals.

Pretty neat idea to put it in front of your cams.
