I hunted hard the past 4 days including 2 all day sits. Seen alot of imature deer, mainly little bucks and yearlings. I have at least 4 shooters on camera and all season I've seen plenty of mature does. Friday was the coldest day we have had yet and no action from the older crowd. Just curiouse if anyone else is having the same problem?
I am in lincoln co. mo and i am seeing almost zero deer in the past four days. tonight i saw a nice 8 walking about 70 yards but would not come in to any of my calls, looked my way but kept on walking and i haven't seen a doe in a week of hunting. The last week of east winds and variable winds has kept most deer off there feet it seems.not that this heat will pick things up either.
