Sat out tonight. Only saw a doe and button buck. Could have got the doe, but I'm not big on making orphans. Have seen a lot of little bucks and does getting plowed on the sides of the roads and lots of visible rubs while driving. Getting close down south. Just need another good cold front to set things into overdrive.
Southeast Missouri. Hunt around Bollinger County. Been out about 5 times so far. Seeing alot of does on stand, have a few decent bucks on camera? Supposed to be 80 both days this. weekend. Going to sit this one out! Thinking about taking some time off Nov 8 through 14 or 15. Hope the weather gets closer to normal temps by then!
I just moved to the Steelville/Cuba area. Not even sure about a local archery shop yet. Anybody have any advice for where/how to get started around here? Could sure use some help. Thanks in advance for any pointers Rob
As far as archery shops I'm clueless about that area of the state. For hunting areas check out the Missouri Conservation website. It'll give you all of the ones in the area.
We own farms in Daviss, Gentry, Worth and Harrison Counties. Hunt the 1 in Worth and the 2 in Harrison, But hope to get the 200 acres in Worth County sold to buy a farm closer to our house in Harrison.
You shoot locally? I'm out by Ritter but don't go shoot there often enough. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
I mainly shoot at my house. I'll go to James River Archery and shoot some too. Sent from my HTC6545LVW using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
From Wentzville but mostly hunt in Memphis and Louisiana, MO. Was thinking about doing a little hunting at Indian Hills CA in Memphis. Does anyone know how much hunting pressure that place gets?
Good amount of pressure. & with muzzle loader season coming up, I bet lots of folks headed that way to scout & setup.
I’m over close to Leonard Wood. I’ll be out there in 3 days. Moving there right before the opener (thank you Army for that timing). Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
