Thanks for reading. Which bow would you recommend for a beginner with a moderate budget. I first considered the Diamond SB1 that I noticed at Cabelas. (http://www.cabelas.com/product/DIAMOND-EDGE-SB-CAMO-PACKAGE/2316277.uts) I shot it and was pleased with performance and material quality, but again, I'm a beginner. I can't trust my own judgment. Then I visited my local bow shop and the Mission Hype DTX (http://missionarchery.com/product/hype-dtx/) was recommended over the Diamond SB1. The argument made was that the customer service through Mission would be superior than Diamond, and the manufacturing tolerances would be tighter - aka higher quality product. Considerations: Diamond SB1 comes in a package - Mission Hype DTX comes bow only - I'd need to invest additional coin So, would you rather pickup the Diamond SB1 package and be almost turn-key, or would you rather have the higher quality bow and build it out with better accessories but end up spending more?
