Looking at these two bows. Which would be best choice the Mission Blaze or the Hoyt Charger. I know the Blaze is missions flagship bow and the charger is near the bottom of hoyts lineup although it's still a good bow. I know it's a personal thing but asking for your opinions. Thanks

You need to shoot them. I am not a fan of Hoyt grips, I have yet to shoot one that I like due to that. Back when I bought my Assassin I really wanted a Charger because it seems like a nice bow and gets great reviews. As soon as I shot one I knew it wasn't for me.

Not sure about the Mission but I've shot the Charger. I've recently purchased a bow for the first time and initially I was set on a Charger too. It's a good bow at a good price. I ended up with a Bowtech Carbon Knight after shooting the Hoyt and Bowtech. In my opinion the Carbon Knight is a great bow at a great price. The Bowtech just felt better to me and I noticed vibrations in the Charger even as an extremely novice archer that weren't in the Bowtech. Shoot everything and see what fits best for you. If you're happy and shot it well, it doesn't matter what bow you have.

I have the Charger. I bought a wood grip for it and it suits me just fine. I am very happy with it. Just dont buy the package it comes with. I did and it worked fine but I have upgraded everything on my bow since then.

Heres my opinion, I have shot the blaze and charger side by side as well as the balistic. I went into the shop with my heart set on the charger. I loved everything about it....on paper. The charger is a great bow, smooth draw, quiet, little vibration. BUT, the back wall was terribly mushy. I just couldnt get used to the back wall, anchor felt terrible.

The blase was nice, I didnt care for the longer ata of the blaze. Its draw was very smooth, maybe a tad bit stiffer than the charger. Backwall was solid, with just a tad of post shot vibration.

I ended up going with the balistic. Nearly the same bow just shorter and I believe a bit longer brace height. Walking into the shop I hadent even considered the balistic. Once the owner handed it to me and I shot my first arrow I knew it was the bow for me. Perfect lenght, smooth draw, DEAD in the hand. Solid backwall, whisper quiet.
