    dropped my daughter off yesterday for her senior year at WASHINGTON and JEFFERSON College (Washington, Pa.) and i leave tomorrow to make a 9 hr trek to VERMONT TECH FLIGHT ACADEMY (WILLISTON, VT) for my Son's freshman year.

    No kidding as soon as the nest was empty, menopause kicked in. You can not believe how difficult that was.

    So Germ did you get misty or cry? I will admit I cried when I dropped off my little girl, I did make it back to my truck before I started.

    I'll assume you mean for her....My family had a great time with the hot flashes and the sweating. Me on the other hand didn't find it as funny as them.

    Absolutely, we spent a lot of time together. She looks exactly like her mother, but she acts just like me. Drives her mother nuts.

    I never thought I would get emotional in that situation but I was wrong. Just left my oldest son at Robert Morris in Pittsburg today and as soon as we started saying our goodbyes I lost it. I think when him and my wife started crying I just couldn’t stop it. It’s going to be different not seeing him every day I feel bad for my wife. She is taking it really hard.

    My oldest will be headed to college in 2 yrs. I was just looking at her soccer pics of her when she was 2 yrs old....now she is 16 and 5 foot 9 and prettt much a grown woman. We are good friends.

    Take heart they'll be back every break and summers, unless they have internships. 4 years of moving an ever growing dorm room, how do they fit so much in such a small space?
