Well they came out today. The new Blaze its a better Ballistic a little longer a little faster and they might have solved the grip problem with a walnut grip. the other new bow is the flare a pretty nice womens bow that comes in at a wopping 315fps, solo cam, parallel limbs, the works once again very nice bows for a very nice price
I had given thought to a new rig this next year but probably be fine staying with the Venture another year...I love it and it's one of the older Missions nowadays.
You know what honestly I love longer brace heights and I'll either be sticking with my Venture or probably not changing...the Ballistic attracts me more actually than the new one.
i still really like my ballistic and i have ordered a custom wood grip for mine. i would like to shoot the blaze. i bet it shoots a lot like the mr6 and i like that the black has carbon fiber finish on the limbs
I don't think Matthews will bring a lot this year. They are due for a new women's bow but I think to top the creed they are gonna need another year. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 2
No idea what's new from Mathews this year. If it were up to me there'd be a longer ATA version of the Chill. Something in the 32-33" length with a 6.5" brace shooting 340 fps would be right up my alley. New Mathews bows are usually released on 11/1 so one month to wait yet. I like the looks of that Blaze. Seems like a little speedier version of the Ballistic with a better grip.
I don't think it's old at all, but round the bow community many many guys think it is. To be honest I'd rather upgrade my arrow/broadhead set up before I change bow...new string too probably and it'll basically feel brand new.
I'd love a long brace height bow...something which creeps towards that 8inch mark...but alas with speed being the "sex" that sells in archery it will probably never happen.
I know what you mean. I'll probably start shooting the pile drivers next year once I add a inch in DL.
apparently they are coming out with a 6 inch brace chill and a new competition bow. Don't know if it's reliable but I searched 2014 bows and found this in a thread Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
