Buck activity was close to nothing during the end of Oct and first two weeks of Nov. here. So on the 17th I headed down to our Cabin in WI for rifle season (a bust for me, but my brother got 2 bucks). While I was gone, the bucks started becoming active back in Ely, trail photos, rubs, etc. Now I've left the WI season early, but not to come back home to hunt. My wife and I are FINALLY taking our Honeymoon after 5 1/2 years of marriage. So, I might be missing out on the best hunting this year, but.... HAWAII here we come!! See you all again sometime after the 10th. I'll be hitting the late season pretty hard for either another doe, or possible one of the remaining bucks.
