Just found out yesterday that I will not be hunting on the opening day of the PA season this year . We are going to be visiting the college that my son will be attending next year and unfortunately it falls on the season opener which I have never missed in my 30 plus years of archery hunting. Super proud of him for all his dedication and hard work to actually get a scholarship to play golf for a D 1 school. Not a full ride by no means but takes the sting out of all expensive we have had for him to play over the past 10 years or so. We have always looked at it as an investment in his future and he has worked hard at it and made it pay off. In the big picture missing one day in a six week season is nothing. Plenty of time to fill the tags.

I never go out on opening day anyway. I let the opening day guys have their fun, because most of them aren't an issue as the season moves on.
