MDGC0145.jpg MDGC0146.jpg I posted a couple of pics of a buck with a missing eye a couple of months ago. I had not checked my camera since then...which was good. He did not show up again until 8/2 and then again last night. I pulled my camera from that little piece property (around 10 acre swamp/marsh) and will not step foot on it until 10/1 (IL opener). Any ideas on score...I was thinking around 150"+

Could be pushing mid 60's. Great deer though.

Wow! Nice buck! Maybe you will have the edge since he's missing an eye.

def in the 60's with those brows and mass.... I think this deer will suprise you in person! That missing eye could be an advantage to killing him!

THe good news is that my only stand (currently) on this little plot of land is positioned on his right side! I had this deer face-to-face with me 2 seasons ago at 6 feet on the ground with his head to the ground following my foot scent. I was fully drawn, but did not take the shot as he was not in an ethical position for me PLUS I had passed on him the night prior as he was about a 125" 8 pointer and I was targetting a funky non-typical that roamed the area that eventually got hit by a car. I had one brief pic of him last year on 8/2 (same as this year) and never saw him again thru the season. I will be a little more aggressive this year, though!

He is a stud. Good luck getting after him. I agree with the 165"+ assessment. I'll admit I suck at scoring in velvet though.

I have a doe and a buck missing an eye on my lease ground. That's a 180" deer you got there. Good luck killing him.
