Well tonight will be a night of should of, could of, did I. I had a afternoon sit today in a new spot on the public land I hunt. Right at 3:20 I see two large does headed my way. I only had one shooting lane on that side and I was doubtfull. In this lane was a small bush vital level that was in the center of the two trees that border the lane. The lead doe to my surprise comes in and ends up on my side of the bush. I put my 25 yard pin on her and stop her with a bleat. She jumped the string and almost disappered into the ground as I watch my arrow just skim over her back. And of course they were gone and no more activity the rest of the night. This was my first miss and man I wanted to cry. I have atleast a week before I can get back out and my wife is on my back since I've filled one tag already. Sorry for the rant no one at home to rant to I do fill much better though:o

it hurts to miss, but no where near as much as wounding one and not recovering it, so count your blessings, it wasn't meant to be, you'll get em next time
