This artcile could have just as easily been titled, "gun owner defends himself & friend against armed robber" http://www.post-gazette.com/stories/local/neighborhoods-city/three-shot-in-garfield-671635/
I love our media. Whatever you do, don't praise the people inside the home who managed to fend off a criminal.
holly cow yeah thats a real bad title. Of course they would try to make that look bad though, it proves the good in guns.
I don't understand why the two guys in the house were both found elsewhere when the cops showed up? One was at the neighbor's, I can get that. The other dude was down the street, maybe a few blocks away, after having been shot? I'm confused. But you're right - the media writes headlines to get attention and clicks. In doing so they use words that catch people's attentiong like "killed".
^^^^This. Its sad because facts and accurate reporting have taken a back seat to sensationalism as long as it helps pet agendas.
I'm thinking this was a case of crooks hitting on crooks. These boys in the house do not come off as stellar citizens to me. And really.... what visitor sitting on a sofa while his friend, the home owner, opens the door can put several bullets in a mans face at the door. NOT!!!! This is not the "REst of the Story" as Paul would say.
