    I didn't take it that way Sota....I personally hate hunting in the rain, a mist is 1 thing but a steady rain and I don't get along lol....if I know for certain it's going to rain and I wake up and it's raining....I go back to bed lol....that's why I said way to stick it out in the rain

    Well Sota, sounds like a good day to me, All I got this morning was a cold after I got poured on, and I had plenty of bluejays and squirrels around to let the whole stinkin area know that I was there, what a waste of a day.

    Not that I wont do it tomorrow XD

    Thanks everybody, I wish I could say that I had plotted and planned taking this deer, I dropped my grunt call early in the sit, I had never seen him on trail cam it was the first buck I saw while in the stand this season. I hunted 3 times this season for a total of 8 hours, I was simply in the right place at the right time

    I got lucky with the shot as well, shot was a little forward went thru the shoulder blade and got both lungs, that is why I use a 450 grain arrow

    Got the official Pope and Young score today 136 6/8 pretty happy with that not bad for an 8 pointer.
