There's so much good information here and great input from the people who have owned it for a while. Thanks guys, this is just one of the reasons I love this site.

Come on, we both know that you already know the answer...

With my hunting style with long walks in the big hills that 1/4 zip is a blessing on the walk in and out.

Is everyone still happy with their Minus33? I'm in need of some quality base layers and this is the top of my list. I'm looking at probably getting the Expedition series.

Yep - still rocking mine. The neck is a bit stretched out on my shirt but I'm not trying to win any fashion competitions.

Good to hear! Now I just need to figure out what size I need.

Does a guy want them tight or a little loose fitting? I am 5'11" 175lbs.

You're about my size and I have the large in expedition weight. I guarantee you will never be sorry you purchased them.

Agree 100% I love mine. Now to find a good insulating layer to wear over them....

On the top I like any sort of "puffy" layer with Primaloft insulation. The ScentLok Crosstek jacket has been working well for me this year. Cabela's has a few nice pieces as well.

Today I picked up a Columbia fleece zip up "jacket" for $25 and pants for $13 as well as as puffy vest for $40. Not sure what type of covering is on the vest but its much quieter than anything I've ever seen and was only $40. Tried everything on and was still able to draw my bow with no problems. Hoping to give it all a test this afternoon.

If anyone has Amazon Prime. Meriwool is good stuff for cheap! I have a few pairs of boxers, neck gator, leggings, and mid-weight top in army green. I like it, for 1/2 the price of First lite.
