Looking to do some upgrading with my baselayers and Minus 33 is kinda the spot and company I keep going back to. Definitely more money than most the everyday users but also not take a loan type apparel either.

Knowing that many of you here even utilize it wanted a thread specific spot for discussing it and the specific ones folks have liked/disliked or what not.

I'm personally looking to upgrade first the mid-season midlayer which will be too hot if temps are warm but can be used once temps begin dropping under my outer layers for warmth.

If money allows also going to get rid of my lightweight early season synthetic baselayer option and go merino there as well.

So any and all information on anything you've used share!

I really like the quality of the garments.

I do not like the cut of the tops. Imo the torso is cut much to large and the sleeves Are to short.

    The bottoms are cut fine.

What build are you buck? Just trying to imagine if I should in that case go size smaller than normal or order true to size?

Would you change size if ordering again or not so much the size just not a fan of how it lays "cut" as you put it?

    6' 160 pounds. I ordered Mediums.

The problem with ordering a size smaller is the sleeves are a bit short to begin with. Order a size down and the sleeves are then uncomfortablely short rather than just annoyingly short.

Other wise no complaints with the fabrics or construction.

I ordered some last year and they are some of the best garments I've ever worn. You can seriously feel the quality of the stuff. I am 5'11" 175lbs and the large fit me perfectly. I actually could have gone mediums with the bottoms. I guarantee you will not be sorry you ordered these. They are a bit pricey but when you compare them to similar wool garments they are actually a little cheaper.

I got the expedition weight. I believe the the top is called the Yukon and the bottoms are the Katmai. Next I'd like to have the Kobuk 1/4 zip and the Kodiak hoody. Just gotta get these by the wife.

Not sure what price they get your for on that stuff but I got Cabelas brand thermal base layer. Not sure of the exact option but they were like $75 a piece for the top and bottom. Best investment I ever made.

Keep in mind, I order medium in everything. I am comparing the cut of these mediums to the cut of other companies mediums.

Check Amazon, that's where I ordered all of mine.
