    Father had a mild stroke at 1:00 am this morning. Due to his high blood pressure he blew a blood vessel in his brain.

    Feeling has returned to his right side, appears he will be fine.

    Thanks for the prayers

    Great to hear that he will be alright. That is such a tough thing to go through. My father had a double stroke 10 years ago and has been a quadrapalegic ever since. Such a tough thing to go through so I know how you were feeling this morning. Best of luck to him.

    Great news! Strokes (even minor ones) are no fun. Still dealing with the after effects a year and half later.

    Count your blessings.

    My grandfather had a minor stroke as you described, but a few hours after he stabilized he had a massive heart attack and slipped into a month long coma before passing.

    Strokes are serious business, great to hear that he will be ok!
