Not getting out this season, but this morning at 530am pulling into my driveway, 6 does, little 4 pointer, and a larger 8 pointer walking single file down the sidewalk toward the nature reserve. I live in the cities and have a small nature reserve a block away and see these guys almost daily. Can't wait to hear about your guys hunts some more.
Neal it should be good next weekend. It will be the early youth gun season as well so you might have to wear orange while bowhunting.
I hunted hard this weekend and only saw 2 does after shooting light as I was leaving the field. No chasing yet. Set up a mock scrape roughly two weeks ago and the bucks have been hitting that hard - No pictures of the big bucks during the day yet.

Sure! I heard a rumor a HUGE one was just shot in Caledonia...(Last Night). I'm there on Thursday for an epic halloween hunt. Hopefully not in the rain!

I'm off November 2-11, time to get at it. I know a few guys who took off work all this week in the SE part of the state (Houston, Brownsville, Winona) and all have reported it being very slow with little to no cruising or chasing. Hoping its ready to take off next week.
