Contrary to popular opinion I am a Minnesota sports fan and have loved the Twins since I was a kid. I am pretty jaded in that I will not go to the park to watch the game if the team is not 500 or above. I recently went to my first game of the year and they lost but it did not kill my optimism. The Twins just keep bouncing back from disapointment from winning only 1 game in the series against the Indians to well on their way to sweeping the Diamondbacks. Win Twins.
Don't feel bad. I think everyone is more interested in their team if they are winning. I can't tell exactly what the Giants record is right now but I know it's not very good. Additionally baseball in general takes some patience to watch. The game is slow IMO and need to have something else to do besides just sit an watch a baseball game. I actually like working outside doing something and listening to it on the radio more than watching it on TV.
Oh defiantly my favorite way to take a Twins game in is on a radio while fishing on the Mississippi. The games are on FM radio now I prefer it on the old am.
They are greedy **** suckers!!! Conned the state into a stadium to put a **** *** team out their and smile when they go to the bank. Like I said F the Twins and F the Pohlads!!!
Easy now the Pohlads are Minnesota people that made their money in Minnesota and keep it here unlike the Wilfs the NJ east coast carpet baggers. The Pohlads spent way more of their money on their stadium than the Wilfs did on that crap hole that the siding falls off in a stiff wind.
That was over 25 years ago...most of these dumb ass MN fans give them a life time pass for that. Of all the places I have lived MN fans are by far the dumbest sports fans and the biggest ball washers for their teams I have ever seen.
Wilfs have brought nothing to Minnesota sports fans, nothing. The Pohlads saved the franchise from Calvin Griffith, I remember those days I lived threw it.
I was born in Philly and still can't believe they actually have a Packers radio show here in MN. If they tried having a Giants, Redskins or especially a Cowboys radio show in Philly they would burn that F N station to the ground.
Look they spend money and bring in free agents and at least attempt to win. Only a ball washer could say the Pohlad's are trying to do any of what they promised to do with spending money and bringing in free agents to get their stadium.
I do trust the new brain trust running the Twins. I do love Packers Preview on K-Fan with Dave S. Just goes to say just how awesome the Packers are with slop over the border.
You guys booed santa and pelted him with snowballs not exactly the voice of reason. Plus the Eagles suck.
I don't mind when they have Dave S fill in or his Saturday morning show. He is better than most that have a daily show.
Hey Bling back off the Twins nobody thought they were going to do anything this season, they are at the same level win wise as the teams that just buy post season rosters.
