Anybody see much movement this weekend? 2 of the most beautiful days of fall so far. I did see 2 hunters in a field with a deer the farmer was just walking up to them, cool moment to witness from the road. I discovered that I am getting bucks that are cruising the oak flats cleaning up acorns and they have not been going to the mineral site so I have not been getting pictures of them. I fenced off the plot yesterday wish I had got that done 2 weeks earlier but should still have growth for the next 2-3 weeks let the clover and alfalfa recover the freeze. Hard not to hunt opening weekend.

I saw 7 deer last night and let a 2.5 year old 8 pass at 40 yards. Deer are totally off the beans, my alfalfa field saw all the action last night. I'm going to hit an oak flat this evening! Good luck mn boys and girls shoot straight!!!

I would have posted sooner if I saw this. On opener I saw nine deer. Two fawns, seven does and a little spike that was chasing does for some reason.
