Minnesota Camp Ripley????

Anyone go up for the 1st hunt or anyone going up for the 2nd hunt this Friday thru Sunday? Personally Im not very excited because of the results the last few years... But the wolves have nothing to do with that................

 

Got an email with a couple nice bucks shot the first hunt.

Someday I'd like to try it.

 

Always the chance of shooting a nice buck out of there but years ago we would see 20-30 deer a day.

 

I have heard things about that hunt, not a lot of it good. Sure there may be a few nice bucks but people taking others deer etc, I don't care to deal with crowds when I hunt.

Yes but i have been on the Youth hunt for many years... and my dad and his friends have went for a long time

 

4 years is a long time when you are 16.

 

Been to ripley 5 times since I was 10 years old. I apply for both the youth and the adult hunt.

 

I wouldn't lie about how many times I've been there.. It's really nothing to be proud of.. More or less just a change of pace and a fun thing to do with friends during bow season

 

I wasn't implying you're lying just thought it was comical wording. Most of these guys the site are that 40 range and then saying 'years ago' means different things.
