:d Well guys, like Steve said, bear hunting opens here tomorrow. I'm super excited! Got the bow dialed in, the bait freshened up, and bears pounding it every night. They are literally ripping down trees around my bait to get at the scent rags, and jelly flavor and DESTROYING the bait (and the logs covering it). My bait has never gotten hit so hard, and hopefully tomorrow I'll find myself full draw on the bruin who is causing all the riot:d ! He will be :busted:

Yeah we're going to try and get it on film. Last year when I shot mine, we ran out of shooting light. Hopefully they cooperate a little better, and show up a bit earlier:d

If I had more time, I'd wait until I COULD get one on film. But the 1.5 hours from school to home just to keep baiting makes it tough. Hopefully I won't have to worry about that!

Well guys, didn't go quite as planned.

It was 89 degrees when I set out for the stand, with 20 Mph winds SSE gusting to 27 mph. Wind, and Hot weather are not a good combination for black bears.

I had six buddies out hunting. We ended up 1/6, One of my buddies ended up shooting a 250# boar.

I'll be back at it, friday evening and hunting through the weekend. A big thanks goes out to my pops for helping me keep the baits going while I'm at school.

I kinda figured it would be tough last night. It was warm and crazy windy up here too.

Keep at it bud, this weekend looks to be good!
