Where abouts are you at in MN Mission? I'm in the Southeast. Going to try to get out maybe 1 or 2 more afternoons this year and keeping my fingers crossed.

I’m about 5 hours south of Winona ;-) Went to college in Winona but I was too busy enjoying college life to notice deer. Although I did wind up almost nose to nose with a doe one fall morning around dawn. Doing the walk of fame(had to get out of the girls dorm before sunrise). It sure is beautiful up there in MN. I’d love to bow hunt it sometime. Good luck up there!
I hunt mainly private but I do like to dabble in public land near my house. From shed hunting, scouting new properties, and actually hunting the public. I typically will stick out a piece of public if there is a lack of hunting pressure, which can vary a lot between the pieces.
