And when I said I have not seen anyone where I hunt I do walk pretty far in. As always wearing rubber boots and crossing a little water helps
I have to admit in the 8 years there has been bowhunting on my land in Orrock township 5 P & Y bucks nothing smaller than an 8 taken. between me and guests. It helps having a gated community to the east with no hunting allowed 1400 acres.
Anyone hunt the public land near rice? Was out last night and checked it out seems to look promising but as I was walking out there was a whole family shooting squirrels Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
the WMA just south of rice on the river? that gets pounded, i would look at the sartell wma, just North of rice, if you can cross little rock creek into the main area, i would think it could be great with the ag surrounding it; and just west of that wma about 1/2 mile is a piece of state land that is mostly red pine, but surrounding it is sometimes corn or beans, not sure what it is this year
You know Jake that would be great I would gladly buy you a beer but do you really think it is a good idea for me to be around viking fans in a bar?
I was banned from the local bar the Ponderosa because of the 1998 NFC championship game, I really should not be around them it is bad enough when the Packers are not playing the vikings I can't imagine the Packers piss pounding the purple would help either. Like I said I appreciate the offer.
I’m near Hibbing and have been living for in Minnesota a little over a year and a half. I hunt both private and public. I’m a transplant from Michigan. This is my first year bowhunting here in Minnesota.
