Minimum draw weight to kill a deer

Yes new for 2014 i just saw it in the regs, my 10 yr old is really excited.

 

I knew a guy that killed his first deer on one of those $30 bows at walmart. I think they shoot at 30#.

 

Personally I'd feel under bowed below 50#. But that's just me, I'm sure wildlife authorities have done their research to find what is required to humanly put down a deer.
