I recently purchased some mini blazer vanes was a little skeptical on how they would perform but to my surprise they performed pretty well out to 40. Yds with a grimreaper practice head has any one else had success with mini blazer vanes ?

I see no benefit to them whatsoever in terms of a hunting arrow. Less steering.

Put anything other than a tight mechanical or field point and they're worthless. Bohning even states these are target vanes.

I shoot 70yds with the Blazers, Slick Trick blade 100 grains, Carbon Express 350 arrows they shoot great for me. I could not find any where that states these are for target only. I sure see a lot of target shooters in the woods then.
