Wednesday morning I loaded up the g/f and our soon to be 2 year old daughter Into my newly bought 2004 Ford Explorer that I bought 2 days prior and made the 4.5 hour trip up to my dads to do a little fishing and camping but most Importantly to get my dad and his grand daughter a little more acquainted. My dad only gets to see my little girl 3 times a year so every chance I can we get them together. It sucks being that far apart when you've got little ones!!!!:mad1: The fishing wasn't to bad, I'm guessing we caught close to 60 northerns and right around a dozen walleyes and a dozen LM bass. Sorry, no pics of the fishing.

Here's a few pics of us at a place called Animal Land near Bemidji, Minnesota.

This black bear has to be In that 700lb range and I'm guessing he's about 7.5 feet tall. He's got a huge melon on him!!

Nice Steve. Thanks for sharing and damn, that bear is certainly huge!

When do they stop allowing the bucks to be hand fed? I'm assuming they go to hard antler and are not neutered? (at least according to that one photo).

I have no Idea Rob on when they separate the bucks from the people. It's a pretty big enclosed fence that were all In and the deer are free to roam. Yep, they all (the bucks) have a pair!!:d I'm sure there eventually separated when they get some hard bone, one would think anyway.

Thanks for the kind words Keith and Rob, fun time had.

Great pics, Steve. Your daughter looked like she was loving it! It's great you make an attempt to get her and her granddad together as much as possible. That bear is a monster.

Sure Steve, you go visit your Daaad, but you don't come and see the ole AF? What gives? I've always treated you like my own red-headed stepchild! ;-) Looks like you all had a good time!
