Hold The phone...you mean you are the one on the atv in your avatar? This whole time I thought you were the one sitting on the ground next to it....Huh...learn something every day
Nice touch with the finger though...i had to go back and check to make sure I wasn't actually doing that
I wish, that dog was a thing of beauty though in that pic she had a goofy look on her face. It was almost impossible to get that dog to sit still for that pic. ROFL, I couldn't resist, you set that pic up perfect for it. Hope you don't mind me playing around with it, I did it sloppily so it would always be obvious it was photoshopped.
If minerals are added to a supplemental feed, high substance, low salt (if any) is good. But.... It's also been proven that if a mineral is given as a lick....a high salt, low substance lick is as, if not more beneficial than a low salt, high substance lick due to duration and frequency of use.
There is also a study that has shown that there is no benefit to antler growth with supplemental mineral ingestion.
Tina and the crew at the Gilman Co-Op are simply outstanding. Excellent customer service. Sent her an email earlier this week. She was at a conference out of state but said she would check on a few things for me. Got an email today from the Purina rep for the Co-Op saying they can get that mineral in. Going to talk to them and see what they can do. Let me know if you want me to order you some @Sota. Of the ones listed in this thread, which would you say is the "best" or you have had best results with @boonerville
There are a few Good ones listed. I personally like the Rangeland Pro Fescue mineral. There are others that are close/comparable. Kent 365 with dried molasses added in will do the trick too.
make my own and the deer tear it up. I tried all the store stuff with no results. trophy rock was the best store bought one.
Anyone ever use or know about the Purina AntlerMax Mineral? The local Purina rep is recommending that over the Rangeland Pro mineral.
48% ash... I'm not sure what that is. Otherwise the ingredients are about the same. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Getting both the AntlerMax and Rangeland Pro Fescue mineral delivered to the local co-op. Thought why not try each of them and see what happens.
Let me know what you think of the AntlerMax. At 1st glance, it appears to have smaller amounts of key minerals than the fescue mineral, but still looks better than a lot of the ones on the market.
Do you have any information on what it is exactly? I tried doing research but couldn't find anything.
