I used Imperial Whitetail's '30.06 Plus Protein' for the first time a few weeks ago. I usually make my own mix, but used this in a pinch and was very disappointed in the results. The area I placed it hadn't been touched and was completely covered with mold. Had a camera on the site and the deer were completely disinterested. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?

Yes several years ago I had that product out and had next to nothing touch it. That and one other brand caused me to really be skeptical when it came to buying minerals again. The best so far for me has been Monster Raxx.

Talked to the folks at Imperial Whitetail and described my findings. Guy on the phone wasn't surprised, and actually said that it is common to find the mineral moldy because of the higher protein content 'if the deer don't eat it right away.' Explained to him that it was only out for about two weeks, his response, "at least it was only one bag." Needless to say I will never use their products again. I am very interested in Monster Raxx, where can I find it in the Milwaukee, WI area?

FYI,In Wisconsin it's only legal in counties that still allow baiting and only during deer season, 2 gallons per 40 acres. The rest of the state is banned all year.

Click here>>> Monster Raxx | Trophy Deer Minerals & Attractants

If it is not located in your area you can order from the website. I would add a couple bottles of their attractants to your purchase also. It's great for starting new mineral sites as well as using during hunting season.

I had a similar issue with some green stuff made by Wildlife or Wildgame Innov. a few years back and it molded on me too. I have been using MonsterRaxx the last couple of years with very good results.
