I have had a ton of activity in my mineral station up until three weeks ago. I had noticed it getting less for a few weeks then nothing. It may be what I was using though. I started out with Deer Cane and changed over to slat blocks. I am fixxing to suck it up and order Monster Raxx in the next week or so. This area stays moist all of the time and I don't have but a few areas like this around my property. My question is should I abandon this one and start a new one or just put the Monster Raxx over what I had already established? OK now lets hear it Monster Raxx guys!!!
The last 2 weeks have been "less busy" here also. Just a shift in patterns they will be back. You can put the MR on the established sites and switch them over or start a new site.
My mineral site has slowed way down in the last three weeks as well. Went from 75-100 pics/week to about 8-10. It seems that as soon as the does dropped their fawns the activity started dropping off.
