I've been putting a lot of money into a mineral site and the deer have not been hitting it at all. Any ideas on what to do? I can always use sweet feed or corn u get some pics, but I want to help progress antler development and have tried an array products. Any suggestions appreciated.

i have used a few of the liquid types that you just poor onto the ground. what i've found is the first year i put it out almost no deer visit them. after half a year or so if you refresh it you will eventually see deer coming to it and it will become a pit. my buddy had the same results. i have no idea why they don't seem interested in it til some time goes by. i made a new one this year and had a fawn very interested in it but never saw any other deer at it. that was in late july. i was just up there last weekend getting all my stands and it is a 1 foot deep and 4-5 foot wide pit now. i refreshed one time at the beginning of october, and it's april now so mabey that helps you. good luck
