Bottom line is no sane person would ever in their right mind state a well balanced mineral supplementation that isn't simply a glorified salt block won't help the overall health of the deer....whether it adds bone to the heads of bucks could be argued till we are blue in our faces. When people ask why I use mineral as I can I always respond with "for the overall health of the deer herd; bucks, does and fawns." Any aspect of it that makes antlers grow a touch bigger is a cherry on top and with now years to compare and look back on prior to mineral sites is a cherry which I feel is there.
